New 2009!

This is just a quick insert to say I completed a 2008 New Year’s Resolution just at the strike of the clock – to set up my first blog!

It is New Year’s Eve tonight and I can honestly say I am happy with how the blog has turned out.

I haven’t posted for over a week because there were some issues I wanted to sort out before I officially launched this blog.

I want to thank some people for their guidance in being able to give me the right ground work in creating this blog:

• Sam Clark – I signed up to be a part of Sam’s “16 Steps to Success” in September 2008.  Now Sam is working on his own project – Internet Business Training Program,
• Jack Humphrey – The “16 Steps to Success” training was an introduction into Jack’s Authority Site Center, which is now called Blog Success,
• Brian Gardner – created this great WordPress theme that I am using Code Red from his Revolution Two collection,
• and of course my mum for always being there for me.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a fantastic New Year’s night and an even better 2009 – I reckon it is going to be a great year.

Personally, I was a bit over 2008 and could not wait until it ended.

You know you want to!

You have for ages!

It is just that you have never

had the opportunity.

Let’s talk about success.

What do you reckon? Now, I am not saying I am successful by any means, but I would like us to take the opportunity to discuss why. How do we get the keys to the big pearly gates that say “YOU ARE A SUCCESS”? And does anyone really know exactly when that happens?

Hey, and this is a better time than any to start talking about success. The world is changing fast and you need to stay in control. You need to make decisions quicker than ever and if you are not clear on what you want from our lives – you will ultimately get lost in it. Now you may have made some wrong decisions before, but I hope together we can let that go and create a new path. I have learnt quite recently that your past does not define your future. It can be changed, but let’s talk about that another time.

I really hope to hear about your thoughts on success. I don’t know about you, but success fascinates me because I love to think about what makes someone successful over another.

Now I just want to let you know what to expect in this blog. You should expect:

• mini stories from either my experiences or from others = TALK
• to hear about some cool tools I have come across or any you have come across = TOOL
• info to help it all stick in your mind. Note: I have personally created some success formulas that have helped my logical brain = TIP
• to learn about some stuff that will create the foundations to your success = TECHNIQUES
• to have an opportunity to give to share your opinions on what is being discussed = THOUGHTS
• I am also going to leave you with a quote at the end of each discussion.

Some questions I would like us to talk about in some future dialog are:

• What DOES success mean to you?
• How do you KNOW when you are a success?
• What SHOULD success mean to you?
• Is there such a thing as a success creating tool?

Then after we have exhausted the general topic of success, I would like us to then break it up and focus on each area of our life (in no particular order):

• Personal
• Health
• Business
• Work
• Relationship
• Finance

Ultimately, I hope to bring a collection of like-minded individuals together on this blog that all want to help each other in their paths to success because ‘success is a process’. Don’t you love that summary – Success is a process.
